Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser so it can remember things between page loads and visits. On ilyacasino they do two jobs: keep the site working (staying logged in, holding your session, remembering that you have answered the cookie banner) and, only if you agree, help us see which pages people actually read.
The practical thing to know up front: analytics is off by default here. Nothing measurement-related loads until you tick the analytics option. Your banner choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under a single key, ilya_cookie_consent, rather than in a cookie itself. Clear that key (or your browsing data) and the banner returns on your next visit.
The cookies that always run
These are strictly necessary, so there is no toggle for them — without them the site cannot do the basic job you came for:
- Session and login — keeps you signed in as you move between pages and protects the form submissions you make.
- Consent state — records whether you have accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked on every page.
- Security and load balancing — short-lived files that route your requests and help block abuse.
None of these track you across other websites, and none are used for advertising.
Analytics: only if you opt in
Turn analytics on and we load a privacy-focused measurement tool that counts page views and rough journeys through the site — which reviews get read, where people drop off, whether a page loads slowly. We use it to fix weak pages, not to build a profile of you.
A point people miss: declining analytics changes nothing about the games, the cashier or any offer you are eligible for. The welcome offer and every other promotion work identically whether the toggle is on or off. Opting out costs you nothing.
Changing or clearing your choice
You are never locked into your first answer. Two ways to change it:
- Re-open the banner — clear the
ilya_cookie_consentkey in your browser, or wipe this site's stored data, and the consent prompt appears again so you can choose differently. - Use your browser controls — every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies for a specific site under its privacy or site-settings menu.
Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will break login and the cashier, so expect the site to stop working properly if you do. Blocking only analytics is completely safe.
Where to read more
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in full in our privacy policy. If something is unclear or you want a specific cookie explained, the quickest route to a human is our contact page.
Cookies are a housekeeping detail; keeping your play under control is not. If gambling ever stops feeling like entertainment, set a deposit, loss or session limit in your account before you play, use a time-out to lock yourself out for 24 hours to six weeks, or apply self-exclusion for a longer break. Our responsible gambling page walks through each tool and links to independent support if you would rather talk to someone outside the site.
